Kristin will be speaking at the upcoming PA Assoc. of Community Health Centers Conference at Penn State University on October 8th in partnership with ProEdgeSkills Inc.
The Bright Lights of the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation invited Kristin to speak at their upcoming event on Oct 15th at the Weise Foundation Townhouse on Las Olas Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale.
Kristin will be delivering FranklinCovey’s Focus; Achieving Your Highest Priorities workshop on October 20th in Norfolk, VA and again on October 22nd in Plantation, FL.

With stress levels on the rise, many groups are requesting the workshop Playful Transformation with its focus on self empowerment. Recently delivered to Mercury Media in Boston and then again to the City of Miramar, Florida at City Hall, folks seemed to really enjoy the time spent. Most evals. read “loved it” and asked for “more please”.

A keynote is a powerful, short and very organized presentation. Its usually found at the beginning or end of a large event. Follow these top tips to make your address count:
Tip #1 START & END STRONG (use a joke or story etc…)
Tip #2 CREATE KEY POINTS (items for the audience to remember)
Tip #3 PRACTICE!
A keynote is a powerful performance. Make it count by doing your homework, designing a solid delivery structure and practice out the bumps until its worthy of opening or closing an important event. Also, never underestimate the power of your own style. We are most influential when we are authentic. Also, it never hurts to eat well, exercise and feel good.

The workshop Move the Room; Delivering Powerful Presentation will be designed to impact all North Area-Prevention Liaisons. These folks serve as a conduit for all things prevention in their schools.
Many of the folks attending were chosen based on their potential for leadership so I am thrilled to partner for such a worthy cause and make their message count!

If you are a leader of an organization you probably have proved good leadership ability. Skills such as successful decision-making, organization and the ability to execute your plans are essential as basics. All good stuff, really. But what if the terrain is changing and you are asked to upgrade your already fabulous skill-set but are not sure where to put your focus? Below are the ABC’s of next generation leadership:
A – Adaptability: It is essential to master adaptability. Here’s the thing…being able to change is not where the challenge lies. The challenge is being able to constantly adjust to different situations with poise, balance and a clear head. Your success in being adaptable is actually a skill in managing your internal emotional landscape.
Tip: Have a personal development plan.
B – Focus: We are in information overload! Now more then ever it is important to decide your priorities and invest your energy wisely.
Tip: Create and stay committed to a planning system that supports your lifestyle and all of its facets.
C – Have fun: Yes, this is a leadership skill. If you can inject fun into the work world you have mastered the above steps and will attract and retain top talent.
