Below is a letter sent from CSC Broward County Training Collaborative in reference to previously conducted training sessions.

******************************

The CSC Training Team has a steadfast commitment to making available quality and effective training programs that support the service delivery and administrative functioning of organizations that serve children and families.  Over the years, participants have been asked to complete an online survey to assess long term satisfaction and impact three months after the completion of a training program. We are pleased with the results from programs offered September 2006 – October 2007.

The attached report provides item details for the topics that received participant response.  In summary, this is how participants responded:

Participant satisfaction is extraordinary – Nine out of ten respondents were satisfied (92%), with CSC offerings for FY06-07, compared to 86% last year.

CSC-sponsored training have a positive impact on work and job performance. – 84% of the respondents reported continued use of the knowledge gained and skills learned from the training. 84% also notes a dramatic improvement in job performance.

Because our professional relationship with qualified trainers like you, attendees who have participated in this important exercise make it possible for us to say, your tax dollar is helping to make our vision a reality:  The children of Broward County shall have the opportunity to realize their full potential, their hopes, and their dreams, supported by a nurturing family and community!

Thanks again for helping us make it so!

ProEdge Skills and I will work together in New Orleans and Little Rock for a exceptionally-designed Service program by Mary Sandro.
I have enjoyed another round of presentation coaching with The Nyman Group for the soon-to-be law partners at DLA Piper in Dallas – always a wonderful and successful time.
New creative courses have been developed and a schedule posted soon.  Podcasts will also be available.
As you can see I have been quite busy and not the classic “blogger”.  I have also made some changes and removed most news items in the archive so that PocketSeminars offers tidbits to assist you keeping my “news” to a minimum.

Team Building Seminar at Children’s Services Council

Posted on Apr 27, 2007 in Uncategorized

Creating and delivering the seminar Building High Performance Teams for The Children’s Services Council of Broward County was sheer delight.  Not only were the staff at CSC an excellent group to work with, I always find myself having a ball with the participants.  The seminar focused on the three keys to strong leadership and how that plays a powerful role in building teams that impact organizations.  This group was so enthusiastic that a great part of the morning morphed into a valuable Q & A session in which leaders shared their experiences and enjoyed each others ideas.
Working with groups like CSC make up for those days when the LCD projector fails and coffee does not show.
They are simply a pleasure to partner with – everytime!   Thanks again Roxanne, you are the best!!!
Future seminars for CSC include a repeat performance of Building High Performance Teams, and two additional sessions on Management Skills.
